 Welcome!

a school photo of Ms. Stiffler

My name is KaiLea (kay-lee) Stiffler and I am so excited to be working with your second grader this year! It will be my tenth year of teaching. I have spent nine years teaching second grade at Pinebrook and I'm exicted to start my first year in third grade. Go Pumas!

My goals as a teacher include helping your child not only foster a love of school, but also build strong connections with their peers. I believe that having positive social skills and interactions helps to create a classroom community where everyone is comfortable making mistakes as we learn together. I hope that we (you, me, your child, and your family) will find ways to still meet this goal together!

I grew up in Middletown, Maryland. In 2017, I graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in history. It was fun being so close to Ocean City, Maryland while not being too far away from home.

I enjoy reading, taking walks, and continuing to learn new things. I am enjoying watching my son, Callum, learn and grow at home, along with my husband, Jacob. We all have fun hanging out with our cat, Valkyrie.

As always, I look forward to seeing what this coming year brings!
